ROAR aims to better serve families in rural areas of the Mid-Columbia. During ROAR events, children get to pick their very own free book!  While children browse the books, our staff demonstrate how to read at home with their child and model simple activities parents can do with their children, to continue the learning at home. Families will leave R.O.A.R. events with books, take-home activities, and feel empowered to read together 20 minutes every day.
